Preparation
- Power off and unplug the power cable from Finestra Hotspot. Then remove the antenna by rotating it counterclockwise.
Removing the SD Card
1. Place the FinestraMiner upside down on a flat surface.
2. Pop off the lid by using a thin object. Place the object as seen in the image, then flex it to the outer side. The lid will pop off.
3. Unscrew the screws shown in the image.
4. Pull the upper board carefully and unplug it from the sockets of the lower board.
5. Now you are ready to unplug the SD card from the board by simply pulling it out by hand.
6. Now that the SD card is removed from the Finestra Miner, a new SD card can be programmed with the official Finestra Image. See How To Flash The Finestra Image To The New SD Card section below. Once the programming is done, follow these steps to re-close the miner.
7. Simply insert the programmed SD card to the slot, and make sure you seat it all the way down.
8. To put the upper board back, gently push the pins to the lower board. It will seat the board connector header directly into the pins.
9. Replace the removed screws. And screw them clockwise.
10. To close the lid, pick up the lid and notice the hole on it. This is where the power plug will go.
11. Flip the Finestra Miner upside down on a flat surface, line up the hole with the power plug, then gently press the lid to seat it back into the case.
